We make every blind ourselves.
Roller, venetian, wooden, vertical, patio and outdoor blinds, made to measure in our Kenmare workshop and fitted by our own technicians. Upholstery too, under the same roof.
Scroll, and each blind changes the light in the room.

Roller blinds
Sunscreen fabric cuts glare and heat but keeps your view. Translucent fabric gives you privacy in soft, diffused light. Blockout takes the light away completely, for bedrooms and media rooms.
- Up to 3 m wide in one piece, with linked systems for wider spans.
- Chain control, or a battery or hardwired motor.

Aluminium venetians
Tilt the slats and you set exactly how much light comes in. We make them to your measurements, in 25 mm slats for smaller windows or 50 mm for a bolder look on larger ones.
- Moisture resistant, so they suit bathrooms.
- A wide colour range, including metallic finishes.

Wooden blinds
Genuine bass wood, stained or painted, brings warmth to living rooms and bedrooms. Faux wood has the same look and stands up to the moisture in kitchens and bathrooms.
- 50 mm and 63 mm slats.
- Cord or wand control, or motorised.

Vertical blinds
The practical choice for sliding doors, large windows and offices. Vanes in fabric, PVC or aluminium turn to control the light and draw aside to open the view.
- Up to 5 m wide and 3.5 m drop.
- Weighted at the foot, so they hang straight.

Patio and outdoor blinds
Built for South African sun, wind and rain. Clear PVC keeps the view, tinted cuts the glare, and canvas or mesh filters the light. Heavy-duty outdoor blinds suit shopfronts, restaurants, schools and exposed homes.
- Track-guided, zip or straight-drop systems.
- A 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects on outdoor blinds.
Repairs, servicing and spare parts
Don't replace a blind that can be fixed.
Repairs and servicing
Our technicians repair every type of blind, including other brands: cords and chains, slats, mechanisms, restringing, motors and fabric. Businesses can arrange scheduled maintenance.
The parts counter
One of the largest blind spare parts stocks in Gauteng: chains, cords, slats, brackets, headrails, wands, weights, motors and complete mechanism kits. Trade and public welcome, with courier delivery nationwide.
From your window to our workshop and back
The blinds division covers the whole job, from the first conversation to looking after the blind afterwards.
Consultation
Tell us about the window and the room, in the showroom, on the phone or here on the site.
Measurement
We measure the window, so the blind is made to fit it exactly.
Manufacturing
Your blind is made in our Krugersdorp workshop, not imported.
Installation
Our trained technicians fit it.
Repairs and maintenance
We look after it afterwards, with repairs, servicing and parts.
The upholstery workshop
Under the same roof, our upholsterers bring sofas, wingbacks, recliners, dining chairs and office chairs back to life, and make bed boxes and headboards to order. Choose from our fabric library, from premium imported fabric to genuine leather and commercial-grade cloth.

Come and see it in person
Our showroom at 172 Voortrekker Rd has blind displays, fabric swatches and leather samples, so you can see and touch the materials before you choose.
Walk in, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00. The team will take you through the options, measure if you need it, and give you a quote on the spot.
Founded by William Webb
A and K Blinds was founded by William Webb to give South Africans quality craftsmanship they can trust. A large team of craftspeople, upholsterers and blind technicians does everything in-house, and both divisions work under one roof.
Whether it's a single armchair or blinds for an entire office building, the work is done here, by people who take pride in it.
